HIGGY AMBASSADORS

A few years back, a few very special girls reached out and decided they wanted to find a way to donate Higgy Bears to other scoliosis patients at their hospital. Through social media, they explained what Higgy Bears were and how much they meant to them. They explained what they wanted to do and shared their mission with family and friends. The girls  quickly found out that even strangers wanted to help fund their Higgy Bear Project. Soon enough, many small donations added up to a lot of money. They used the money they raised to buy Higgy Bears, and then they personally took them into their hospital to donate. As time went on, more and more kids wanted to do the same thing! Thanks to a few very smart and savy girls, The Higgy Bear Fundraiser was born! Over the years, thousands of Higgy Bears have been donated this way, and I would love for your family to get involved!

You are welcome to fundraise any way you would like, but I find that social media is the best! You can start a personal fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram and collect money through Venmo, PayPal, etc.  It helps to share your story and what you or your child has been through to explain to people the heart behind your fundraiser. Please see a few examples below to get an idea of what you might say. These two  simple posts led to over one hundred and fifty Higgy Bears being donated to scoliosis patients across the country. 

Once you raise the money, you can then purchase your HIggy Bears!

You or your child gets to have fun by picking out which animals and brace patterns will be sent. Your order is then personally made by myself or my new employee, Grace, in The Higgy Bear Factory! (Also known as my home office in  Michigan).  Once your Higgy Bears are ready, I will send everything directly to you, and your family can take the Higgy Bears into any hospital or clinic of your choice. Kids LOVE taking the animals in to donate! It gives them such a sense of pride and joy to be able to help other scoliosis patients. I think the whole fundraiser will be a wonderful opportunity for your child to be able to help others and feel great about it at the same time! They will become an official Higgy Bear Ambassador for their chosen clinic or hospital and receive recognition  from me for their amazing efforts!
